As a member of a military family Christopher had the opportunity to travel to many different place.  He continued his Martial Arts training throughout the world.

  • Pensacola, Florida - Christopher started his Martial Arts training in Tae Kwon Do.  He Advanced to Blue Belt when his family had to move to Okinawa, Japan.

  • Okinawa, Japan - When faced with the opportunity to learn Shorin Ru, an Okinawan style of Karate Chris could not turn it down.   Unfortunately this meant that Chris would have to start all over at white belt in a totally different style of martial arts.  Chris advanced to Brown belt in the three years that he lived on the island. His testing was conducted in actual Do-jo's that existed for hundreds of years, many of the Master's lineage traceable to the beginning of the art on the Island.

  • New Orleans - When Chris and his family moved to New Orleans he was hesitant to take Tae Kwon Do again beacause of the frustration of having to start all over again.  He still looked for a good school to continue his training.   He found a USTU Tae Kwon Do school which would recognize his experience and start him out as Red Belt (As long as he was able to prove his total knowledge of all forms and techniques by the next testing cycle..which he did). He earned his Second Degree Black Belt in July 1998 through the World Tae Kwon Do Federeation and Kukiwon.
